• 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 kg of beef to cubes
  • salt,pepper
  • 500g red potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 cups of broth
  • 2 teaspoons of tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme and rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked peppers and cumin
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup of plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley


  1. Salt and pepper the meat. Heat the oil in the pot and saute the meat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Insert meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic into the pot.
  3. Mix the puree with the broth, and add spice. Pour the mixture on the meat and cook using the Slow Cook program at low temperature for 7 to 8 hours or high temperature for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. At the end of cooking, mix the flour with a cup of broth and pour into the pot while stirring constantly.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
