Troubleshooting

The vacuum sealer is not operating:

  • Check whether there is a power outage or if properly plugging the machine. Check the electric wire, the plug, and the machine itself to see if there is any damage, and if there is, do not use it.

Insufficient air suction or failure of automatic heat sealing:

  1. Check whether the lid is fully locked.
  2. lf making a bag from a roll, make sure one end of the bag is sealed.
  3. Check whether the sealing function is working correctly.
  4. Make sure the open end of the bag is down inside the Drip Tray.
  5. Check whether the bag is damaged and causing air leakage.
  6. Check for wrinkles in the bag along the Sealing Strip.
  7. To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch the bag flat while inserting the bag into the Drip Tray.
  8. Check whether there are obstructions on the Sealing Sponge and the Upper and Lower Welding Bar.
  9. Check if the Sealing Sponge and Welding Bar are deformed or damaged.
  10. Make sure the Accessory Hose is not attached to the Accessory Port.

After vacuum sealing, air enters the bag again:

  1. Examine the seal. A wrinkle along the seal may cause air to re-enter the bag. To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch the bag flat while inserting the bag into the Drip Tray.
  2. Sometimes moisture or food material (such as juices, grease, crumbs, powders, etc.) along the seal prevents the bag from sealing properly. Cut the bag open, wipe the top inside of the bag, and re-seal.
  3. Check whether the bag is damaged for packaging sharp items. Try another bag if the bag is damaged. Cover sharp food items with a soft cushioning material, such as a paper towel, and re-seal.

The sealing function is not working correctly:

  1. Too much liquid in bag, freeze before vacuuming.
  2. Check for food debris around the seal area. Remove the Gasket, clean it, and reinsert it into the Vacuum Channel.
  3. The overheating sealing element will lead to the melting of sealed end of the preservation bag. lf usingthe machine for over 30 minutes, you can open the top lid and wait a few minutes for the Sealing Strip to cool down.
  4. Check for wrinkles. To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch the bag flat while inserting the bag into the Vacuum Channel.

Bag Melts:

  • The Sealing Strip may have become too hot. Always wait at least 20 seconds for the appliance to cool down before you vacuum seal another item.
